WHAT TO PACK
June in Tel Aviv-Jaffa is warm, sunny, and very summery. Think light, breathable clothes for
hot days and mild evenings. Pack comfortable walking shoes or sandals for strolling the
tayelet, markets, and Jaffa’s cobblestone streets. Don’t forget your swimsuit, sunglasses,
and sunscreen - beach weather is basically guaranteed. A light layer for evenings or
air-conditioned places is helpful. If you plan on visiting religious or historic sites, bring
something that covers shoulders and knees.
GETTING AROUND
Getting around Tel Aviv–Jaffa is easy and fun. Walking is one of the best ways to explore the
city-especially along the beach, in Neve Tzedek, and around Old Jaffa. For longer distances,
taxis are widely available, and you can use the Gett app for quick and easy rides. The city is
also very bike and scooter friendly if you feel like cruising along the tayelet.

Tel Aviv–Jaffa is one of Israel’s iconic modern cities - equal parts beach, culture, food, and
energy. Whether you want to explore, relax, or just vibe, here are some of our favorite ways
to experience the city:
Get lost in Old Jaffa (Yafo)
Wander through the cobblestone alleys, art galleries, and little corners of one of the oldest
port cities in the world. Walk down to the port, stop at the flea market, and don’t miss the
viewpoint near St. Peter’s Church.Walk the Tayelet (Seaside Promenade)
A perfect walk by the Mediterranean, stretching from Jaffa into Tel Aviv. Great for sunsets, a
morning coffee walk, or a relaxed bike ride.
Hang out in Neve Tzedek
One of the prettiest neighborhoods in the city - cute streets, cafés, small boutiques, and a
really calm, charming vibe.
Shuk HaCarmel (Carmel Market)
If you want to feel Tel Aviv’s energy, this is it. Amazing fruit, spices,
street food, and lots of little stops for snacks and coffee.
Rothschild Boulevard
A classic Tel Aviv walk - shaded paths, Bauhaus buildings, cafés, and great people-watching.
Go to the beach
Pick your vibe: Gordon, Frishman, Banana Beach, or Hilton. Even just a short walk or sunset stop is worth it.
Jaffa Flea Market
One of our favorite areas to wander; vintage shops, home décor, cool cafés, and great
places to grab a drink or dinner.
Eat. A lot.
Tel Aviv is all about food, from casual street food to amazing restaurants and cocktail bars.
